Nothing today. Someone else I was with had a good hit. I had a couple taps on Sunday. That's about it for me lately.

The three stooges (myself, Jason, and Pat Lat) will most likely make an appearance.

Are you guys throwing the same patterns at 430am that you do after it's light?

I use the same pattern, partly because I don't know any better. I don't have anything that glows in the dark.

    DP,
Please don't take this wrong, but you're making your quest for a salmon much more difficult then it needs to be.
Don't over think things. Fish the same flies you hooked fish on last year and add some pink patterns to the mix.
Good luck and I hope you hook up,
    SF

Wise words from the master. I caught my pink with the same chartreuse/pink clouser I was using last year. So far just a bunch of cutts in MA 10 but we're getting close. Any day now, and I plan on being there.

Hey all. I wanted to give one last update. I drove away Saturday morning, before closing the door on the moving truck I manged to get out to the beach one last time. I was casting by 4:30am. Hooked one bigger one who rolled a few times and was off and then landed this smaller one. Brought him home and had breakfast for the guys helping me move the truck.

Hope everyone has a great year, and thanks again for all the info and pointers over the last 12 months.

    Dave
