    Geez, normally, as an author, you are paid a perecentage per sale of each book. I'm not sure if the same applies to e-books. If it does, Dave is certainly not making much $$$ when thee books are free.

    Considering Dave is a full time freelance writer with no other income, I'm wondering how this is all adding to his income... hmmmmmmm.
