Another's Day Off...

    Last week finished up the morning chores, packed up the tube and headed to the mountains. 25 traffic lights, highway miles, dirt roads, hiking over snow and alas at this little gem of lake.
    Water was 44 degrees but felt great under the sunny skies. Fish were all rainbows, not great numbers but certainly enough to make the afternoon enjoyable.
    Best fish just 14" but a great fight. Didn't see much dry fly action but my I-line and a grey hare's ear did the trick in the shallows. Was the drive worth it? You bet...

    Wow right on that lake looks awesome and nice fish to.
