Caddis Hatch

  1. I note from the What Pays Your Bills thread that some of you have connections to Colorado. Just wanted to advise that the caddis hatch on the Arkansas River is approaching peak. Fished Sunday with a buddy and between us landed about 35 browns, with another 15 LDR's, in about 4 hours. Caddis hatch was slowed by cooler weather last last week. Some of the fish were taken on caddis pupae imitations, but the majority were on BWO emergers - RS2's worked best. See the Royal Gorge Angler's website for a fishing report. This is a reliable shop and you can trust their reports.
