In my opinion Coldwater is always a good prospect. However, it can be hit and miss at times. There are days you can go up there with perfect conditions and get skunked and then there are days that you know you should have stayed home but couldn't resist and end up having a ball. One thing is for sure, you probably won't find better a setting than Coldwater.
Assuming you'd be taking a boat or other floating device(s) I'd give it a shot. Just make sure you bring both dry and wet gear. Oh, and if you haven't done so, read some of the past posts on Coldwater.
    Good luck!
