Spent last weekend with my Canadian buddy exploring the Cowichan River. We avoided the deranged Chums in the lower river and set out to find some trout. The river was a blast and some of the best scenery/fishing Ive had in awhile. We caught some nice wild rainbows and a few B.C Browns. Ill start with my good film photos I took and end with the two Iphone Photos of me and my prized catch (a BC Brown) of the trip.
I fished it about 14 years ago for the chums without any idea there were other fish up river. I did land one bow in the lower river and almost lost a dog floating it. Thanks for the report.
