    Cross posted from the watercraft section...finally finished the boat build tonight. Planning on testing it out at a local lake tomorrow and then hopefully hit the Yellowstone or Madison next weekend. It has been quite a process but I am pleased with the results!

    Hell yeah! Great job man, just in time for the Salmonflies. Maiden voyage at Hyalite? It's really full right now and is fishing good around the dam.

    Beautiful boat. Almost too pretty to put in the water and muck it up.

    Beautiful boat -- I bet it rows like a dream.

    Someday, I'm going to put my Clack into the garage and build a wood boat...

    That's the worst looking job I've ever seen. My son is in woodshop for his first year and could've done a better damned job then that. Josh, I'm sorry to say, you just need to GIVE me that boat so I can park it in my garage so nobody sees it. I'll even be kind and come pick it up from you so you don't have to drive with it behind your vehicle.

    ;);););)

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Sweet job. She's a beauty. Had to razz you. But you did a great job. You'll turn some heads for sure.

    I took the boat up to Hyalite Lake to row around a bit and it sure does row nice. I have had two framed wooden boats and one Hyde and this one feels really awesome compared to the other three. The true test will be a river which will be next week. The dry storage that I built in kicks ass I had quite a rain storm move through today and everything I brought was nice and dry and nothing was floating around the bottom of the boat which is what I disliked most about my other boats...just nowhere to store anything. I will probably have to adjust my rowers seat about an inch up other than that everything work out great. Below are some pics from today.

    Bitchen job, Josh!! I'd be happy to store it at my place as long as I could borrow it when you're not usin` it!! Of course, the commute would be a little long.......
