Mancation V is coming up the last week of July and we are heading to Fernie BC to float the Elk River and St. Mary's River. With their recent floods I was wondering what short-term effect flooding has on the fishery and fishing? Other than changing the channels and other physical changes does it move fish downriver and misplace them? Or do they hole up in the edges and survive the high water events?

    Anyone have any thoughts?
