Holland Lake

    I don't do much in the way of lake fishing but this weekend proved to be interesting. We camped at Lower Holland lake Saturday night and took the horses 6.5 miles up a narrow, steep rocky trail through the pass into Upper Holland. Upper Holland was glass calm and fish were rising all over the lake. Dry fly fishing and it really did not matter what you tied on. It was one of those every cast days for west slope cutts 10 to 13 inches on average. My phone died about half way up the trail so sadly, no pics. Good day on the lake and well worth the sore butt after 13 miles in the saddle.
