Hello all! I'm heading down to my home town of Sacramento this next weekend the 28th to do a solid two weeks or so of fishing. I've already got some set ups on the American, Sacramento, and Yuba rivers for striper, shad, and rainbow fishing, but I was wondering, does anyone have any experience on the North Coast rivers? I can say all of my years in CA and I've never actually fly fished up North. I've got experience on the Eel and Smith river, but I'm specifically wondering about the Klamath? I've got a few nymph rigs that I'm itching to toss out and I hear the summer run steely and salmon are a blast. Has anyone ever fished there? As always, I'll continue research until my trek down, but any inside advice is appreciated. Feel free to PM as well.

    Thanks!

You are 3 months early for middle/lower Klamath half pounder and steelhead season.
