    Lost the counter-weight on the face of my Gen2 Velocity V2 last week while fishing in MT. Called Lamson today. Conversation went like this.

    Me: Hi, my name Bill and I lost the counter-weight on my Gen 2 V2 reel... was wondering if you have the replacement part?

    Lamson Service: Yes we do. Can I have please get your shipping address?

    Me: Great, my address is 123 Big Fish Kahuna Lane, Utopia, WA

    Lamson Service: OK, we'll send it out today... you should see it in 3-5 days.

    Me: Can I pay with my VISA?

    Lamson Service: No, but thanks for the offer.

    Me: Your company rocks... Thanks Very Much!!

    Lamson Service: Thanks and you are very welcome.

    In less than two minutes, issue taken care of and this long time customer is more than happy he owns and fishes Lamson reels! :)

    I haven't had to deal with customer service yet, but I've owned a lamson for about six months and have been real impressed with the quality. And mine is just a Konic, one of the cheaper models.

    Used once...first class. Love their older stuff. The speedster looks interesting but don't like the looks of their newer stuff, but that is just me.

    I've had good customer service from two reel company's. Allen fly fishing and GLoomis., Parts free all times.

    Same here. G Loomis rod had a bent tip I never noticed. Brand new rod in 8 days. Also have a Konic 2.0. Very impressed so far.

    I own 7 lamson reels and its all I fish. You won't beat them in quality and service. I've had to use my warranty twice for minor issues and both times the reels were back within one week.

    7, that's outrageous. I hear WA is considering a bill limiting possession to no more than 5. I'll buy that Guru 1.5 back from you if you end up on the wrong side of the law. ;)
