Dear Fellow Fly Rodders: I left my fly rod on the bank of the upper Yakima east of Cle Elum on Saturday, June 9. It's a brown St. Croix with sinking tip line, probably with a bead-head hare's ear nymph attached. It was about two-thirds of the way between the ramp at Fireman's Park and the takeout/access park near Airport Road. I'm pretty sure I left the rod just upstream from the I-90 bridge. It was on the left (north) bank just after a fairly long run along the north side of an island. If anyone finds the rod, please contact me. Dumb move. First time I've done that in 35 years of fishing. At least it wasn't a Winston. Moral of the story: Grab your rod after you take a pee on the bank! Thanks for your help.
