    Jim, thanks for finding this thread. Up here lots of fry pinging around, tried to tie a guppy and variation.

    Those look good, Tony. By the time I get back up there, I might have to troll a 4" pattern! That's if I can get launched and be fishing by first light, in hopes of fooling a larger Beardslee. That's the only time you can find 'em up on top, as I understand it. As it gets light out, they head down too deep for effective fly angling or streamer trolling.
    I'm going to try to come up with a 3" kokanee fry, first. Then I'll make a couple of bigger ones.
