I hope not as in he might not get to participate in many other swaps. I hope he was kidding.
My apologies, just kidding. My fly is attached, it's around 1/16 short of an inch and I'm a dozen through. Will send them out this week. I wouldn't bend the rules at all.
Really looking forward to see all the creations we come up with!
Us geezers have a hard time understanding youngster humor. It goes over our bald heads.
Don't stress guys, if he sends that in for the swap, I'll send his to you and then send your fly back to you as well and he can have nothing. Ha ha, that's what these swaps are all about after all.
You're not the only one!
They're on their way out!
Mine are done. In the mail ASAP.
Where is everyone else in this swap? Have you started tying? Half way there? Waiting on supplies? Done but not mailed? Mailed? Already in? Once I have two or three more sets, I'll reveal who was first in!
I think Ira might be the first since he didn't have to mail anything.
I'll be done by the end of the weekend
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G
ill be done by the end of the weekend as well. I'm half way done.
I have tied. Mailing tomorrow.
Made a few proto bugs. Going with one using some brown beaver underfur. At least in the sink has pretty cool effect in water of moving but at same time keeping the tail suspended.
Half way done and will finish up this weekend; should be post marked on Monday.
Being out of town two of last four weeks got me pretty swamped.
Here is a picture of most of the flies together, for the lurkers out there.
And the winner was 10
Hey Ira - you should let everyone know who tied #10..............
Steelie tied number 10.
Number 7 from the left- I'm naming it Great Slayer of Bluegill. Stellar day on a local Whatcom lake with that fly.
Could have been number one as well but I think we understand. Bluegill are always a blast!
If another one of these swaps OR the competition jig swap happens, I would be all over it. hmm hmm
