Hey guy's, my son will be here (on vac) in a couple of days and is bringing his 3 man raft from Colorado and wants to float the Yak. He fishes and floats most of the rivers there so is not a novice but neither of us has floated Yak. Any suggestion on the best section, put in and take outs would help us out a lot.

I have a good idea what to expect this time of year (rubber hatch and all that) but any advise would be
    greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mark

Don't call Steve. Just put in at MM 18. Float to mahres. Get the flies from reds fly shop. Couldn't be easier fishing. The river is self explanatory to a good trout fisherman.

Mark - consider staying at the KOA off I-90. You can float from there to Ringer (farmlands section) and they offer shuttles. It's great water with lots of good wading.
