Next week (3/7 - 3/9) is the NW Fly Tyer and Fly Fishing Expo. Who is planning on being there? If you decide to make the show, please stop by tying station 61 Friday or Saturday and say hello. I would love to meet fellow WFF members. I will also be tying at station 12 on Sunday. This should be a fantastic show.

I'm not tying this year so I'll try to stop by and meet you guys. It's always nice to meet someone in person who I know on a screen.

Gene Thanks for putting up the link.

James...sorry you can not make it this year. I have been practicing my hair stacking since October for this event. I will set aside a fly or two for you. PM me a mailing address. BTW, go ahead and fish the fly you already have. As I said when I gave it to you, I will gladly replace it if it gets lost while fishing.

  12. I'm going. Not too far a drive for me, maybe 3.5 hours.

Ron McNeal Turtles or universes? I can't decide....

I'm going down for Fri. & Sat. For me, it's worth the drive.

I keep meaning to go, but yet again I forgot to request the dates off and am working. Next year I'll have to pay more attention when it's time for schedule requests.

So Old Man Bill, I go to the expo every year and have for over 25 years back when it started in Eugene and I live near Spokane, about a couple hours farther.

Rob, the Expo is usually the second weekend in March for future planning purposes.

Have wanted to go for the past few years, but won't be able to this year unfortunately... I'll have to put it on my calendar for next year. Have heard great things about this event!

I'm tempted and thinking about taking a drive down early early Friday morning and back the same evening. It might be a little tough, but I did it once. Anyone care to join me and share the ride, I'm open. I'll be leaving Bremerton about 5 AM and head back about 6 PM after a long day. I'll be going through Tacoma.
