Has/had the area been LIDAR mapped to show old river channels, landslide scarps/toes??
Lidar shows what the ground looks like, not just certain features. Some of the links in this thread have lidar images of the slide area. You can play around with the county's system yourself. It's pretty cool.
Thanks, but my computer (or settings) are making it difficult to navigate.
Not sure I could get it show what I was hopin for.
Got the idea from looking at Oregon's LIDAR, particularly the Gladstone area and its slide "hidden" topography....house built all over it.
It's pretty weird to go through old fishing pictures and see pic after pic of places that are gone.
