So we're looking to frame a topo map of an area we used to hike a bunch in CO. So my question is, has anyone done this before and how does one go about getting the creases out of the map? Its one of those synthetic/ waterproof maps so was thinking running an iron over it at a low temp. Any other suggestions beyond put a heavy book on it for a few weeks?

Buy an old school paper map of the same location, reuse your waterproof map to go back to wherever you made your memories in the first place...framed Maps, unless antiques, end up in man caves. Says the man with a ton of rolled up maps with thumbtack holes in all four corners
