steelhead over dams?

    about a week ago the total number of steelhead for this year going over lower granite dam was 1500 more than little goose dam. why? mike w

    Nope, there are a fair number of steelhead that cross Lower Granite in the late winter/early spring just prior to the spawn so the count at Lower Granite is always higher for a while. What you saw in that higher YTD count were fish that have already spawned and either died or attempted to head back down as kelts.
