Tropical fish ID help

    Can anyone help me identify these fish? My snapper and grouper IDs are not so good. Also any recomendations for a ID reference tool? The first two fish are from the Pacific side in Costa Rica. The third was caught in the Yucatan. Grouper.JPG Lane Snapper.JPG Rainbow Perch2.JPG

    Second one looks like somekind of a spotted croaker

    The second fish is a spotted rose snapper ( Lutjanus guttatus ) .
