I'm going to be in the Victoria, BC-area for a week on business later this month; anyone have any good nearby guide recommendations or suggestions for the last of the Winter run? Trying to decide if I should bring my rod(s)...

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Your timing is late for the Cowichan, unless you want to rip steelhead off their redds with 'the rambling fisherman'. please don't go with that guy, he rips steel off the redds. call Curtis Smith of Coastwild adventures if you want a really quality trip. http://www.coastwild.com/company.htm There is a particular river that fishes very well late into the season that has very very large steelhead, it is also the most fly friendly on the island, and he is the best guy to take you there.

You can call Florian "Flo" Besson. If he cant take you, he can point you in the right direction.. 250.266.2423
