  1. Hello i am spending 2 weeks in Mt Rainer National Park and i was curious what wt rod would i need to fish the waters, please advise me

  2. Every thread you start is a "what rod should I..."

These are not paralyzing, major decisions. Rainier isn't a great destination fishery, fish will likely be small and some of the rivers majorly tinged with glacial runoff. You make the call. Take some pictures, have fun fishing, not agonizing about your gear.
  3. Are you fishing in streams or lakes? Either most likely will have small trout, a short 6'6"- 7' 2-4 weight for streams (might be brushy) and for lakes are you using a float tube or pontoon? Some higher lakes can have limited backcast so a longer 3-5 weight 9' rod would be my suggestions....but I'd fish with bamboo. Good luck and have fun! :)
