I just moved to Kingston, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for Buck Lake or any of the lakes on the other side of the floating bridge on the OP.
Thanks,
Josh
I know Buck a little. Gets a shot of plants in April, holds up a little while then stinks like everything else west of the mountains. There are some bass but I have never caught any. PM me if you get anything going and I'll tip you off to some lakes on my side of the bridge.
Bob, the I wish I could say that it was hot.x(
josh- just about every lake over there has some fish in it. Not a lot of size but very pretty wild fish in some of the more remote lakes with feeder creeks. Teal, Horseshoe, and others over there have always produced fish in the summer for me. I usually dont bother with them as the cutties are more my style in the salt but it can be fun to float around for an afternoon.
I never liked Buck lake too much but there are fish in there. I always fished it earlier in the season before the crowds showed up to swin and play.
There are several other lakes over on the W side of the canal but I cannot remember the names off the top of my head. Almost any lake shown in the WA gazetteer over there has fish.
Good luck
David
