Switching out a word does not mean the argument is the same. Is this really a conversation?

cool emoticons bro.......Middle finger emoticons are my favorite.

Put some ear plugs on your dog...everything will be okay..

I wonder who is more revelent, one of our founding fathers, or some dude named "eyejuggler"....

maybe you should create your own constitution... I am sure that will go over well.

Law abiding citizens shooting off illegal fireworks? The fireworks people have a problem with are already banned. That's why they're only available on the rez.

Thanks! I am definitely not your "bro"

As was said earlier, fireworks have diddly to do with the original celebrations intentions. We have lost that and apparently only a few people respect it for what it is.
You don't know me and I do not know you, so save the assumptions until you do.

I see no comparisons... fireworks are for entertainment... firearms are for killing.

we are half way to page 10... only 2 days to go....

What I don't understand, is that if somebody needs to hear BOOM, why do they not buy a gun and join a range. Then they can have BOOM all year long. Well, maybe that isn't such a good idea either. If they can't handle fireworks, what would they do with a gun....

I will speak in this shit show thread specifically on the topic of "dogs and fireworks"' because this is the primary reason all fireworks sales were banned in Bellingham, causing lots of clubs and other organizations to lose a source of revenue.

    1. When someone wants empathy for their scared dog on the 4th I say, what of all the barking and snarling said dog likely does towards some people scaring them 365 days a year. I have seen children at parks crying because of a nasty dog.

    2. Or what of the multiple times I have been chased or actually bitten by a dog? Never been attacked or chased by a human or a firework but dogs many times on foot, bike, or skateboard.

    3. Or what of the piles and baggies of shit everywhere in the city parks and trails? I have stepped in, seen, smelled dog shit countless times.

I am a dog lover believe me, but the fact that people are more concerned for their well being than the homeless is sickening. Your dog will be fine after the 4th and if you coddle it like a baby it's going to act the way it needs to to get coddled again. Dogs are not people and they do things that would land people in jail or prison. I don't like the culture and history of our society bending to the supposed needs of a creature like a dog.
