Those look great Jack, and thanks for the good presentation in Gig Harbor last week, I learned a lot about my favorite flies.

There should be a like button but for some reason (like a moderator with a big ego playing games) it is missing from my thread.
I will record your "like" in my personal "like" register. Thanks

There is a like button on the right hand side below the post, next to reply. What are you two viewing the forum with that you can't see them?

I assure you that no moderator is "playing games" with you. None of us have the ability to do stuff like you describe that I am aware of.

You can't "Like" your own post, silly. That's why you can't see it.

I am sure that you can like your own post, you just cannot be egotistical and inform every one by having a button to press.:D I do like those flat wings, a lot more than my post.:D

Just sitting here tying some flies and having a few Sam Adams. Haven't you guys ever wanted to just hug yourselves?:)
I have to remember to add the funny face when I am kidding around.

While not a herring, I think this one will work for silvers. About 6 inches long. Perhaps a bit more flash would be better.
While I was tying tonight, one of the bulbs in my florescent fixture blew out. The fixture is only 2 feet above my head and I heard this loud sizzling noise and then realized the light dimmed. Never knew they made a noise. Never been that close to one when it blew.

Those are really sweet. I've always loved flatwings but I don't really fish in the salt so I've never tied any.
