When a stock planting report says 2.5 fish per pound, roughly how big are the fish?
10-12 inches is what I've heard.
Cool thanks.... trying to decide if it's worth while to run down somewhere and fish for a bit ...
I get a kick out of fishing green lake after they plant it.
Yeah that's what I was thinking of, might be fun to take my daughter down and do a little fishing ... can't decide if it's worth it to take a boat out or just fish from the docks ...
When they do the planting, the docks will be filled with guys casting spinning rods--can be tough to find some space to cast a fly rod from.
I'd say if you have easy access to a boat, take it down. Green lake can be a nice break when you aren't able to get out of the city.
Did they plant it recently?
Yeah if we don't do a boat I'd go down with sp-----g gear.
They planted it on the 4th I believe
I didn't think it was starting until mid-march. Got the low-down on the stock report site? I couldn't find anything recent online.
This might be the solution to the weather's continued thwarting of my weekend plans...
Ooooh, oooh, I remember this from marine biology!!
6.4 ounces, right???
I remember it from 4th grade. 16 divided by 2.5 = 6.4
