NIce weather = high pressure system = north wind. A north wind sucks for a right-handed caster facing west.

I'd like to turn around. I live in W. Seattle, just a ferry away from Vashon. Is anybody willing to disclose any spots facing east or south on the Island? I don't have my Gazateer in front of me, but if there's any obvious parks, and you've fished them, let me know what you think. Please, nobody give away any secrets!

Thanks!

What is it you want to target over on Vashon? This is just about the slowest time of year for any kind of salmon. It is a little too early to be looking for cutts in most areas around Vashon or Murray. If you were real lucky you might find a steelhead off of Pt. Robinson but I wouldn't hold my breath! A very savvy salmon fisherman can hit some blackmouth off of Pt Delco or Neil in the winter using gear, but that is another story.
