hook - Dai Riki 320 #12
thread - UTC 140 dun
tail - moose body
abdomen/thorax - rabbit grey
wing - mule deer
hackle - brown/grizzly
mash barb, start thread at 75% mark
clean, stack, measure (shank length) a clump of deer hair
trim to length; 2 soft wraps, pull firmly and allow hair to flair on top of the hook
take a few wraps through the butts, push wing up and set with wraps in front; if the wing doesn't fan to something close to 180 degrees, help it with your fingers
clean, stack, measure (shank length) a clump of moose hair; tie in/trim, cover with thread
dub thread/dub abdomen and thorax
tie in hackle in front of wing
wrap the brown
then the qrizzly; trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
trim out hackle underneath; go fish
