So, what are the ethics of using such a powerful attractor pattern that does not even try to simulate a naturaly occuring food item (preferably an invertibrate?) Poor dog never had a chance. Our fathers never, never would have resorted to such tactics.

I've seen entire runs of Cockers, Springers and Labs wiped out through the use of such tactics. Will there be any dogs left for future generations if this becomes widespread? Oh, the ethics....

Strong work. Very Strong work. Something nice just happened today! Thanks.

Was that the music from A River Runs Thorugh It?
    That was awsome.

I think that we need to start thinking about a WFF film festival.

Great sport, Coonrad. Reminds me of fishing for chickens, or squirrels. But there's nothing like getting a 80+ pound Chessy on the line. Well done. As others have said, "My wife liked it, too."

Nice work!!!! Winter can actually freeze over a bunch of our local spots, so I've actually spent a fair amount of time in the off-season looking for a warmer alternative but along the same lines as the Chessie. Ever try the indoor version for the elusive and tough-to-land house cat? There's a ton of pre-tied kitty flies available at petsmart. Some even come with a powerful attractant known as catnip. However, I've found that angling for this particular species requires the use of an ice-fishing rod and spinning reel for fishing structure such as under the kitchen table or behind the couch. good luck and thanks again for the laugh!!!!
